In the metal surface treatment process, in order to enhance the conductivity, aesthetics and corrosion resistance of the metal, the metal is often plated with silver. At present, the silver plating process is divided into electroplating silver and chemical silver plating, which are generally used in electrical appliances, instruments, connectors, etc.
Electroless silver plating is a kind of use of chemical silver plating solution to coat a layer of silver plating on the metal surface to achieve the purpose of rust prevention, wear resistance and enhanced conductivity. At present, the electroless silver plating process has many advantages compared with the electroplating silver process. Therefore, it is widely used in the silver plating process of metal parts.
Electroless silver plating has a wide range of applications. Electroless silver plating is widely used in silver plating on the surface of most metal workpieces, such as silver plating on precision connectors, high-precision instrument components, and electronic products.
The plating effect of the electroless silver plating process is good. After chemical silver plating treatment, the workpiece with dense coating, good brightness and good weldability can be obtained, with high corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity, and the coating will not appear yellowing.
The electroless silver plating process is easy to use and has a long bath life. Electroless silver plating process, the equipment only needs corrosion-resistant pp plastic tank. During the operation, the bath liquid is configured according to the proportion, and the immersion method is adopted, and no external power supply is required. The bath solution for electroless silver plating can be used repeatedly. In the later stage, if the speed of electroless plating is found to decrease, the active ingredients can be added and continue to be used. The service life of the bath fluid is long, and the number of bath changes is reduced.
